Paneer is fresh cheese common in South Asian Cuisines. I had made this recipe and it turned out to be quite tasty.
Ingredients:
250 gms paneer cut in small cubes
1 bellpepper cut in small cubes
2 onions cubed
1 tablespoon minced ginger & garlic
1/2 cup chopped spring onions
4-5 green chillies
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon soya sauce
1/2 teaspoon chili sauce
Rub the paneer pieces with the soya sauce & chilli sauce and keep for 10-15 minutes.Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and saute the paneer till they start getting coloured. Make sure that the pieces dont become overfried. Take away from heat and keep aside.
For the Sauce:
2 tablespoons soya sauce
1 tablespoon red chili sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 cup water
salt
Mix these ingredients together to form a semi-thick sauce.
Pour 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and saute the onions & bellpepper till they start getting moist. Add the ginger-garlic paste, spring onions and chillies and stir fry till everything becomes tender. Add the sauce and paneer. Coat everything thoroughly with the sauce.Serve hot.
P.S. Tofu can be used, instead of paneer.
Hmm .. I've never seen anything like it, but it should be a delight. Thanks for following, I am very happy. Always count on me.
