Most of us love beverage.We may consume it in form of juices or drinks.Have we ever thought what are the best for us?Apart from the taste, we should consider the food value as well.
10.Apple Juice
Apple juice has a significant concentration of natural phenols of low molecular weight (including chlorogenic acid, flavan-3-ols, and flavonols) and procyanidins[4] that may protect from diseases associated with aging due to the antioxidant effects which help reduce the likelihood of developing cancer and Alzheimer's disease.
9.Tea
Tea leaves contain more than 700 chemicals, among which the compounds closely related to human health are flavanoids, amino acids, vitamins (C, E and K), caffeine and polysaccharides. Moreover, tea drinking has recently proven to be associated with cell-mediated immune function of the human body.

Black cherriy juice is said to have antioxidant properties and is good for preventing diseases like Gout & arthritis.Consumption of the juice can ensure less risk of muscle damage.

Preliminary research suggests that the fruit juice may play a role in reducing the risk of cancer, reducing serum cholesterol, and protecting arteries from clogging.A peer-reviewed study showed that men who had undergone surgery or radiation therapy for prostate cancer could significantly slow the increase of prostate specific antigen when they consumed a glass of pomegranate juice daily.

Fruit Juices are really not very healthy-
ReplyDelete1. Acetic acid in the juices destroys the teeth enamel
2. To make juice we use generally use 3-4 time more fruit than we eat at any one time- this means more calories- make one calorie junkie (BMJ says it not me :|)
