Kadhai Chicken

500 gms Chicken cut in small pieces
2 onions sliced
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
2 tomatoes chopped
2 green chilli peppers chopped
2 tablespoons cashewnut paste
2 tablespoons oil

The spice:
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 dry red chilli pepper
Dry roast these and grind them to make a powder.

Heat oil in a Kadhai/cooking pot/wok.Add the onions and ginger-garlic paste and saute till they become translucent. Add the tomatoes and green chilli peppers and saute till it becomes almost brown.Add the chicken pieces.Toss and stir till the oil seperates.Add the Cashewnut paste, powdered spice,salt and 1/2 cup of water.Mix well.Cover and cook for sometimes to see the chicken is tender.Serve hot.
