500 gms chicken Legs
2 onions sliced
1 tablespoon minced ginger-garlic
1 tomato cubed
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon Rose Water
1 teaspoon sugar

The spice:
3 cloves
4 pods of green cardamom
1 inch stick cinnamon
1 blade of mace
1/2 of a nutmeg
1 teaspoon of whole black peppercorn
Grind these together to make a coarse powder.

Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a pan.Fry the onions till they become golden brown.Keep them aside.In the same pan add the rest of the butter and sugar.Then add the tomato.When it becomes tender add the ginger-garlic minced.Once they start browning, add the chicken and the powdered spice and stir for sometimes.When the oil starts to get seperated,add salt and the fried onions.Mix thoroughly to coat the chicken pieces with the brown onions.Add some water and cover to let it get cooked.Keep checking in between until the chicken is fully cooked.Remove the cover and add the rose water.
