2 Simple Summer Makeup Looks

The first makeup product that comes to my mind is a lipstick. The first beauty purchase I had made in my life had been a lipstick from Elle 18 and I still remember the shade Coco Loco.So naturally for most of my looks I put an effort to my lips rather than my other features. Here are 2 simple makeup up looks that I had tried for the hot summers of May in recent times.

Evening Tea Party:
This was a party hosted by one of my husband's colleague. I had chosen a white cotton Kurta(long top) with black floral prints allover and piping at the sleeves and neck. I had chosen a black leggings with the top.

1.Face:Garnier Tint Miracle BB Cream applied on face along with a regular moisturizer(Loreal Hydrafresh). I applied a pressed powder from Yves Rocher(Claire Naturel)and blended evenly with a brush. It gave me a pleasant matte look.

2.Eyes: I wanted it to be very simple so just took a black eye pencil(Park Avenue)and drew a line from centre of the inner side of upper lash line towards the outer side.It gave a bit of intensity to my eyes.

3.Lips: I applied a matte berry coloured lipstick from Lakme (Lakme Absolute Matte in Red Hot).It is a very intense and bright colour suitable for statement lips look. I wanted a more subdued take so I used a tissue and pressed in between my lips to make it more muted.

Shopping Day:
I had to buy staffs for me and my hubby including grocery, beauty buys and clothes. Instead of a regular shopping mall I chose to go to the nearby gallery where you get almost everything in lower costs. I wore a loose grey T-shirt with black harem pants.

1.Face:I mixed Garnier Tint Miracle BB Cream with Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Moisture and applied on my face. I topped it with Colorbar Perfect Match Compact in Nude Beige. This compact is good but fails to cover spots and blemishes. I used the Oriflame Visions Top Secrets Concealer stick in Mata Hari and patted gently on the targeted areas. I have seen no matter what I use the Neutrogena moisturizer evidently leaves a dewy glow which I love.

2.Eyes:I used a green eye pencil and drew 2 lines from the centre of my upper and lower lash lines and extended to the outer corner of the eye. I took a blending brush and smudged the lines to give a very subtle green effect. I brightened my lashes with Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara.

3.Lips:I have very pigmented lips so light sheer colours don't really show on them. I used the same concealer to prime my lips. I applied a few coats of the MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner in Petting Pink with a lip brush.
