Plum & Tomato Chutney

Hey loviedovies, its been a while I have posted any new recipes. The reason is I had been staying in a guest house for almost 7 months and did not have any access to the kitchen. Its been 2 weeks since I have started cooking again and today for the 1st time have made something exclusive since I left Belgium.

3-4 Half-raw palms or Alu Bukharas cut in small pieces
2 tomatoes cut in halves
1/4 teaspoon ginger juliennes
1/2 cup sugar(according to your taste)
1 dried red chilli
1/2 spoon oil

Heat oil in the pan. Add the dry red chilli and wait till it turns darker. Add the tomatoes and let the pulp get softened. Add the Plum pieces and some water. Let it boil for sometime. When you see that all the ingredients have almost got boiled, add the ginger juliennes and sugar. Stir well and add water again. Let it boil for some time more. It will turn a shade darker once it is done. Let it cool in the pan. Once it gets cool, pour it in your desire container. You can store this in the refrigerator for at least a week.
