A Few Good Sunscreens- Pt 1

I started using sunscreen quite late, may be when I was 23-24. Before that believe it or not, it was mom's way of puffing talcum powder to mattify the face and ward off shine. The first proper sunscreen that I had used was a gift from a relative from Canada. I don't remember the name but it was an bright mango coloured tube with a smell of coconut. Here are few sunscreens that I have used till date and most of them are quite good.

Loreal Paris Dermo Expertise UV Perfect Even Complexion SPF 50
This was perhaps the 1st sunscreen lotion that I had bought from my earnings. I still remember it was quite expensive at that time and my roommates were quite shocked that I had spent so much on a single "Cream". Anyways, I had been a skincare junkie at that time and did not mind spending my hard earned money on staffs that attracted me. I just loved the feel of the product on my skin and it exactly suited my complexion. The best thing about any L'Oreal product is the hydration. This can well be described a s a tinted moisturizer in that sense. I became an instant fan of this product. Right now I am using the purple tinted one for dull skin which does not suit my complexion so much.

Vichy Bi-White UV PRO Secure SPF 50

This is a product that truly brightens the skin and makes the ski glowing. I was quite benefited with the product and one of colleagues also liked it when I had recommended it. It takes a bit time to get blended to the skin and a small amount goes for a long time. It may be a bit dewy for someone with extremely oily skin.

Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion

Simply Superb is just 2 words that I would love to say about this product. It is a very watery fluid, perfect for my oily-combination skin and spreads like butter on the skin, leaving it soft, smooth and glowing. I loved all the products of Shiseido that I have used till date. This is no exception.

Chanel Protective UV Care Anti-Pollution SPF 50

It is a nice product but I am sure could have been much better, considering the price. I think it will suit somebody with dry skin. The problem is it starts to melt after some time and gives a very shiny and greasy face. However, when my friend who has a bit dry skin used it, it was perfectly fine.

Vichy Capital Soleil Mattifying Face Fluid Dry Touch SPF 50

This sunscreen is I should say, just ok, nothing great but does a fairly good job of keeping the skin matte and dry for sometime. But given the price I would chose other products that are less expensive and does a better job.

I will be talking about some other sunscreens that I have used and my opinion about those tomorrow. Stay tuned.
