A few days back I have shared with you my love with The Body Shop Body butters. One of the body butters that I have from The Body Shop is the Olive Body Butter. Now I love to layer the same fragrance, so I use it after scrubbing with the Olive Body Scrub.
The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub:
This exfoliating body scrub with organic olive oil is perfect for normal to dry skins. It leaves skin soft and smooth.
• Effectively exfoliates
• Stimulates skin microcirculation
• Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
• Neutral olive scent
Price: Rs. 1095/ for 200ml
Packaging: The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub comes in a transparent tub with olive green cover. You can actually see the product from outside.
Product: The scrub is very creamy in texture with very small reddish granules and it smells quite refreshing
My Experience: I love the woody and invigorating fragrance that The Body Shop Body Scrub has. You need a very small quantity of the product to scrub your entire body. I make sure to concentrate the rough and dry areas like elbows and my arms. It smooths the roughness of the skin and you can actually feel that. As said my body skin is quite dry, so I need a lot of exfoliation and moisturization to make it smooth. This scrub is just perfect for my skin. Specially during the monsoons, when the skin gets exposed to rain water for a long time, a warm shower with the scrub, not only softens the skin, but also refreshes the tired body.
The Body Shop Olive Body Butter:
This rich and creamy Body Butter is a feast for the skin. It melts straight in to leave skin feeling soft and smooth. It contains Community Fair Trade organic olive oil and has a subtle fruity scent.
• 24-hour hydration
• Great for normal to dry skin
• Subtle fruit scent
Price: Rs 1095 for 200ml
Packaging: The Body Shop Olive Body Butter comes in a olive green tub
Product: It is a greenish coloured cream that has a light texture.
My Experience: The best thing about The Body Shop Olive Body Butter is its texture that appears quite light yet gets absorbs into the skin and moisturizes it adequately. The hydration is long-lasting and you do not have to reapply again and again. Unlike other Body Butters meant for dry skin, it is not very greasy. The fragrance is same as the scrub and I love it.
My Opinion: The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub & Body Butter are both great products for normal to dry skin. The use of Community fair Trade Olives and #CrueltyFree ingredients make them really unique. You can use them individually or together for a more luxurious experience. I am hooked to the combo this monsoon.
