This one goes to my friend Bonny from Born Beautiful blog. She suggested me to try out and review the Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette which is available in Jabong. Most of the shades almost match the ones of Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. I wanted to buy one from TMart but was skeptical because of the customs issues. So, this time when I discovered a whole range of palettes from makeup Revolution I wanted to give it a try.
About Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette:
Makeup Revolution London offers this ‘Iconic-3 Redemption Palette’ that is just what you need to make your eyes look beautiful and impressive. Including eye shadows in different colours, this eye shadow palette is worth spending on
Packaging: The packaging of Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette is quite sturdy, although it does not have any outer cover. The palette is comparatively bigger in size than other palettes. There is a double ended sponge applicator brush too.
The shades: Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette has 12 shades in the neutral and rose gold family. There are 4 matte colours and rest are shimmers.
My Take: Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette is a mix of neutral, browns, rose golds & champagne colours and will be suitable for all complexions. You can create numerous looks with it, starting from very subtle regular ones to very gorgeous brightening ones. Most of the dark shades are quite pigmented.
However, the lighter shades are not the intense as they are supposed to be. Some of the colours have fall outs. They blend quite smoothly on the lids and give wonderful colour pay off. I am quite impressed with the Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette and although I have not used the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, I can say it is a decent dupe of the latter. The brush is not at all great. I did not want a sponge applicator, and I created the look with my own eye shadow brushes.
1.Some shades are almost duplicates of Urban Decay naked 3 Palettes
3.Some shades are quite pigmented
5. Can create different looks starting from regular subtle to gorgeous ones
2. Some shades are not that pigmented
Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette is a decent dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. If you do not want to invest a lot on the Naked 3 palette, you can surely go for this one. I am sure this palette will be suitable for girls of all complexion and age. I recommend.
