Out of the 6 shades that I received from Oriflame’s The One
range, I had reviewed 4 shades already. Today I will be reviewing the remaining
2 shades, i.e., Oriflame The One Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadow in Shimmering
Steel & Deep Indigo.
About Oriflame The One Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadows:
Creamy texture
shadows when applied turns powdery, due to this enhanced color
intensity. This persistent fine and easy shade. Shadows have a highly
pigmented formula for color intensity.
This shadow is part of their High
Impact range of products.
Price: Rs.499
Packaging: Orifame The One Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadows come in
4g transparent plastic pots with mauve caps.
Product: Orifame The One Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadows are soft
and creamy like butter but instantly take a powdery form in contact with the
skin.
Ingredient: DIMETHICONE,
MICA, CALCIUM CARBONATE, PROPYLHEPTYL CAPRYLATE, NYLON-12, SYNTHETIC
FLUORPHLOGOPITE, ZEA MAYS STARCH, CANDELILLA CERA, HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL,
STEARYL/PPG-3 MYRISTYL ETHER DIMER DILINOLEATE, ALUMINA, OCTYLDODECYL LANOLATE,
POLYSILICONE-6, PROPYLPARABEN, TIN OXIDE, TOCOPHEROL, CI
My Experience: Like
the other shades from Orifame The One Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadows, these
shades also contain very subdued shimmer particles that look glistening under
light, however if seen under daylight these are more metallic than shimmery.
Apart from the travel friendly sleek and light plastic pot packaging, I love
the texture of the shadows. Their extremely creamy but non-melting formula that
turns powdery on the lids is quite unique. This makes the shadow to spread and
blend easily without much effort. However, the intensity and pigmentation of
the shades vary. I wish these traits were also equally positive as the lovely
texture. Non-smudgy, non-fading and long staying, what can a makeup lover want
for, from a single pot of shadow!
The Shades:
Shimmering Steel:
Shimering Steel is appears to be a perfect metallic steel in the pot. However
on application it gives out more of a steel blue kind of appearance. The shade
is very pigmented but I would have loved more of the steel grey shade similar
to the one it looks like from inside the pot.
Deep Indigo: Deep
Indigo is a beautiful shade and very uncommon as we get lots of blues in the
market, but a perfect indigo is quite rare to get. However, the issue with this
shade is its lack of intensity. It requires quite an effort for the colour to
actually take the real Indigo shade on application.
Pros:
1.Very creamy in texture
2. Turns to a powdery form
3.Can be applied easily
4.Can be blended easily
5.Perfect for creating versatile looks
6. Stays for a long time
7.Jewel toned
8.Does not crease or smudge
9.Steel shade is pigmented
10.Metallic
11.No fall out
12.Convenient packaging
Cons:
1.Dries a bit after some hours
2. Indigo shade is not pigmented enough
3. The Steel shade appears more bluish on application
Rating:4/5
Oriflame The One Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadow in
Shimmering Steel & Deep Indigo are decent shades perfect for creating very
metallic eye looks. If the colour pay off of the Steel and the pigmentation of
the Indigo were a bit better, these would have had got my vote for the best
shades in the range. However, I would still recommend it to all, who loves
metallic eye makeup looks, mainly because these are now available in
introductory price of Rs.299. For more information on Oriflame products check in.oriflame.com
