LA Colors 3 Colours Eyeshadow Palette in Orchid Review and Swatches!

Hello my munchkins!I hope all of you are doing well, and if you are not, go buy new makeup--you'll feel good! Trust me! I mean i had been feeling so low lately, given some hindrances at the college front, but a good product never fails to up my spirits! So which product helped me out of my gloom this time? Why, of course it is the new LA Colors 3 eyeshadow palette in Orchid!

What LA Colors has to say?
A trio of long-wearing eyeshadows in one chic palette. Three expertly coordinated shades can be worn alone or together to create an array of looks. Complete with dual ended applicator.

PackagingLike any eyeshadow palette this one comes in a flap-open kind of packaging with a transparent, but very fragile top and all the details mentioned on the bottom! Inside the flap packaging lie three shadow pans in which the product is placed really firmly! Plus the design on the shadow pans are so gorgeous, i mean just look at it once! It also comes with a dual ended sponge applicator which is more or less useless!

Shade and TextureAll the three shades provided in the palette are super gorgeous! It has three shades ranging from cool toned pinks to more warmer golden and bronze hues! The pink is like a really cool toned, blue based pink with loads of silver shimmers going in it! Though the shade is really pretty buy I doubt if I would be using it on the eyes! Instead I plan to use it as a light blush! The warmer shades, namely the bronze and the golden are really beautiful and will suit Indian skin tones really well. Both of them have sparkly golden shimmers and swatch really well! The texture of all three is slightly powdery and not very creamy, as it indeed is a drugstore palette, and at the price i do not expect any better! The shimmers do not feel gritty, and atop a creamy concealer these show up really well!

PigmentationOne commendable thing about all three of these shadows is their superb pigmentation! I mean the pink shadow looks really light but swatches very well! Just two to three swipes in the pot and I have the actual colour on the skin! Whereas the golden and bronze do not even need a second swipe! All these are pretty build able, making them so easy to play around with!

Staying Power
I generally wear my powder shadows above my creamy concealers and atop the concealer these stay put for a good 5 hours with the shimmer slightly moving across the face. But after 5 hours the shimmers create havoc on the face and leave no stone unturned in converting your gorgeous face to a disco ball. But i guess a good eye primer can sort this out as well!

Pros

-affordable
-gorgeous shades
-shimmers are not overwhelming
-comes with a sponge applicator for on the go touch ups
-easy to use
-wears really well
-stays put for 5 hours straight

Cons
-
slightly powdery
-should not be used without a base
-the shimmers do travel across the face (but that is very little)

Final verdict
If you are starting with your eyeshadow journey and want a nice shimmery palette, go buy this one.
