The ABCs of Skincare: The Skincare Glossary Part 1

Youtube is such a boon for learners like me. I keep on watching videos of dermatologists, Aestheticians and skincare experts like Susan Yara, James Welsh and Hyram to increase my knowledge about skincare in general There is so much to the subject and everyday I am learning something new. One of the basic things that I have learned from the videos and through my personal experience as a beauty blogger, is we should know the ingredients that our skin care products are made with. For that we need to know the ingredient names or the common terms that they are mentioned as in the ingredient list. Today I am going to share with you some of the popular ingredients that we find in our beauty products, in an alphabetical order.

ABCs of Skincare:

A

Alpha Arbutin: This is the ingredient that is meant to lighten dark spots and pigmentation and even out skin tone with brightening results. Popular Alpha Arbutin products are The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% +Hyaluronic acid and It's Skin VC Effector WH.

K
